There is a large apartment block (probably about 6 stories) that was built many years ago in Fuengirola. The building was ordered to be demolished at least 5 years ago reasons being that it was too high, too near the main road and blocked the view of the castle. (could be others but as its so many years ago, am a bit rusty on facts!). Of course, it is still there! I have noticed lights on but only a couple over the last few years (maybe caretakers?) but drove past last night and the structure has been repainted from white to the awful ochre colour! Suppose that means its going on sale. Bit like the no-smoking law, lie low for a while and then carry on the same as usual.
