I am applying for the new Tourist Licence Law in Costa Del Sol. I now find that my apartment block built in the ’70’s doesn’t have a First Occupation License and am advised that I will need to contact architect to obtain one (could be very expensive). The apartment block is very large, several hundred apartments – surely this can’t be my problem to resolve?

I am having exactly the same problem. I understand that it is possible to get a different paper – CEDULA DE HABITABILIDAD.
My understanding is that this paper is acceptable however I have ducked out and asked my advacardo to apply for the licence on my behalf…. today!
Interesting to see what happens
