Hi, Great informative forum. As a new user I see there are loads of interesting topics with useful answers. Just opened a Sabadell – only wish I’d seen the comments beforehand on here regarding alternatives due to their high costs. Just a thought – I see there are queries that are 3 or 4 weeks old about management committees and new buildings blocking views that haven’t been responded to as I guess no one knows the answers. Any English speaking Abogado’s able to get involved to pass comment? Perhaps allowing one on might be useful with their firms name ? contrary to advertising though.
Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, some questions go unanswered because they are too technical or the answer is you need to talk to a lawyer. I’m working on a way to get lawyers to answer questions that can be answered, and just looking at how to charge for that as I can’t expect professionals to give their time and expertise in return for nothing. I’m thinking of a special section where people can ask questions for a small fee (they only get charged if the question can be answered), and charge others to view that section. Any opinions on that idea?
Hi Mark, Sounds interesting. I don’t know if you have heard of property118 which is nothing to do with Spain as its a forum site for Uk landlords but I see Agents, Landlords and Lawyers frequently give free property advice on it which I guess is because they have advertisers and because professionals who post answers do so promoting their name or firm when posting. I guess it would only work for you this way if a keen abogado was allowed to promote his/her firm in a similar manner by posting general advice to questions maybe with an option for the forum member to perhaps pay for more detailed answers in specific cases. Anyway, as a recent Spanish home-buyer (bucking the trend of Brexit worriers), I look forward to exploring your site and España – Keep up the good work! Feliz Navidad! Ade
