Back in November 23rd 2009, yes 2009, Mark posted an interview with an expert in Spanish property, none other than the head of Irea a Spanish Estate Agent namely Mikel Echavarran, you couldn’t write it could you! 😆
Quote ‘The Spanish Property recovery is underway and prices will start to rise by 10% per year, and the residential sector is already recovering’ what total utter tosh, let’s hope those who read this forum then didn’t fall for this spiel that only someone with a real vested interest would say 🙄
Well by my reckoning he is way off, according to this interesting expert prices would be 30% higher now instead of 30-40% lower as they are, a differential of 60-70% off beam that could have financially ruined some poor people. 🙄
Logan et al, could you give me one or two reasons why this ‘interesting expert’ was forecasting the Spanish property market so wrong, I’d be interested to see if your reason/s compares to mine?? 🙄 🙄
i think you have all ready said it VESTED INTEREST anyone with half a brain could see it was going to get alot worse, only someone with something to gain in talking the market up would spout that stuff.
Is it time for this expert to come back to this site and say why he got it so wrong and whether his comments induced people to buy and therefore possible lose 60% plus on their properties?
Does anyone know someone who bought from Irea on the strength of his comments? 🙄
Can anyone translate this for me please, I saw it on a Spanish site somewhere?
Los expertos lo tienen incorrecto hasta ahora, pero ahora me siento un gran impulso procedente de los de la empresa 😛 😉
I’m worrying about you Angie. Why are you looking at a Spanish site, if you can’t understand the language?
Hint – learn to use Google translate for the gist (although it rarely gives a good translation)
My bash on that sentence-
“The experts have had it wrong up to now, but I feel now there is a big boost coming from the company sector”
‘The experts have got it wrong so far but now I feel a big push coming from those involved in the business’ this is in relation to all the negative press as far as I can make out and those involved are trying to pump the market. Can’t find the article again for now but it was a warning about making wrong decisions with property investment generally and not to rush in, will post it if I find it 😉
