One of Spains leading judges Baltasar Garzon has been brought in to investigate claims of corruption in the Town Council of Vera and Mojacar.

Accused of receiving bribes from a Ukraine mafia gang.

Looks like the corruption concerning property is a lot more widespread than Marbella………but let’s hope all these investigations bring an end to what is going on in the industry.

It does make one wonder though, how many other Town Councils are busy with their shredders.

Sr Garzon was able to tackle Augusto Pinochet’s extradition. I am sure some local ‘municipal’ mafia won’t be a problem for him!! 😉
