Monte Major?

      Hi all,

      i am currently looking to buy an ultra contemporary house circa 800k on the coast. Plenty of off plan offers and I just replied to the thread below re off plan or build your own. I am wary of building but visited Monte Major 10 years ago when it was tiny and loved it and am really tempted to buy a plot there. But, I know the golf course closed down and there may be other issues. Can anyone advise me on the wisdom of buying and building at Monte Major? Thank you in advance!

      Great views and hill walking, but its far from shops, restaurants, leisure etc so beware if its a ‘Mum and Dad’ taxi service for the kids!

      Many thanks, yes, I will be doing a school run, but am prepared to do it to be in a calmer place!
