Though my wife did all the hard work we had a baby girl on Tuesday 1 January so I’m basically on paternity leave and leaving you guys to your own devices for a week. Please behave.

@Mark, mid term report. We are all behaving ourselves. We expect a forum set up on fathers guide to nappy changing. You are allowed to bring a Spanish/Calatan slant on it.

      Thanks for all your kindness.

She will grow up speaking fluent Spanish, Catalan, English and French. The more languages you speak in this world, the better.

Even now I can hear a baby crying so time to go change a nappy and feed her.

From the forum it seems that she needs to speak Chinese & Russian.

I’m with you, my son is six weeks older than your daughter.

      Good!
Mine are english, spanish and norwegian at the moment.
They’ve stopped doing french in the schools, but as I fluent (more or less) I try and teach them.
Although half my side of the family is catalan, I don’t speak a word… will have to see.

Many congratulations Mark . Hope mother and baby are doing fine and that you are not worn out and bleary eyed from the stress of the moment.
Just the start of a long journey of sleepless nights…………
