      🙁 ❓

Noticed on Ocean Estates website that they now belong to the AIPP which means they have to adhere to the industry code of conduct, which promotes Quote, ‘HONESTY, TRANSPARENCY & INTEGRITY’.

Excuse me while I’ve a bout of nausea over this.

Is this yet another MICKEY MOUSE organisation similar to the API which they belonged to yet did diddly squat for all their clients who were duped in Spain for years? Now operating in Bulgaria, Turkey, Cape Verde and many other countries in the ’emerging markets’ they claim are ‘hot’, now that the Costa cows have all but been ‘milked’ dry.

      ‘How very dare they!!!!!’

Anyone know if the AIPP is a Spanish Gov’t initiative proper regulation body or part of the API scheme, or as I mentioned, another Mickey Mouse organisation similar to the so called motor industry awards like Bentley, Mercedes and Jaguar that some large agents like to display, because none of these have so far been credible nor offerd any protection to buyers????

Does AIPP stand for ‘Association of Improper Property Practice’ ?

Claire, that company wouldn’t know the meaning of any of those words, just a pity the weak Spanish Gov’t hasn’t clamped down on companies like them by now.

‘Honesty, Transparency and Integrity’, ‘Bentley, Mercedes and Jaguar’ awards, they should add ‘sweet FA’ to their credentials!!!

A rumour on another site states a large agent is now not paying its staff and closing branches.
Anyone know if the agent on this thread is the one.

I had occasion to go in there last week, we needn’t worry about them selling to us on SPI as 90% of the conversations the sales staff where hard selling on the phone where all re Bulgaria……. he he he…..

I guess you know the situation must be bad when the rats start jumping ship 😆

Don’t know the answer GJ to your question, and I love your humour banushouse, please go in there again when you can!

Re Bulgaria, they really are trying hard there and a few other ‘laughably emerging markets’. Buyers realy really should be BEWARE of any markets they are pushing now, plus those of a few other agents (you know the usual suspects often on this site).

Anything they sell probably includes a whacking commission even as much as 30% as they did in Spain, probably more in Bulgaria etc because the prices will still appear to be low for unwary Brits.

Oh Mr Pantangle, a trouser salesman and now a ??? lifter!!!

My opinion for what it’s worth based on my experiences and knowledge,
‘Don’t trust Awful with a bargepole, wherever they operate’!!! You know it makes sense Rodney!
