I have only ever heard good things about him, but when we went to him with details of our illegal property mess (we had only just found out how illegal our house was/is), he didn’t want to know.
If you are thinking of buying in Almeria (and anywhere near the Almanzora Valley), please think very carefully about it. A lot of the PGOU’s aren’t up to date and haven’t been ratified by the Junta yet – so land classification can be a problem.
Make sure you put all the checks you want doing in writing – some solicitors don’t do all the checks and they don’t work the same way as conveyancers in the UK. I’m not saying this guy is the same, but it is always a good idea to have things in writing as a back up.
some of the PGOU have been ratified by the JUNTA and have subsequently been suspended by the High Court as the JUNTA (knowingly?)ratified permissions given by the local town halls crooked mayors on land that was protected/ green etc… cabo de gata is a case in point where thousands of properties are now under threat of being declared illegal …………. local lawyers don’t want to know because they did the conveyancing on many knowing the hanky panky that was going on !!!!!!!! the cabo de gata PGOU is called PORN by the way and the latest PORN 2008 has been suspended and will be probably be cancelled!!!!!!!!!!!!
