My wife and I have made it back to Spain in the nick of time for Nochebuena (Christmas Eve).
We were stuck in London for 4 days after BAA and BA abandoned us to our fate. We finally made it out via Liverpool Airport on Ryanair to Gerona. What a journey.
The important thing is we will be with our family for what is sure to be a very Merry Christmas, and I wish the same for all of you.

Likewise, a very happy Christmas to all.
Why do our cats think our Christmas tree is a gigantic cat play-station? 🙁

I know people who think like cats. Forget the Pope’s thought of the day. THis is my thought of the day !!!!!

Merry Christmas all from Manaus, Amazonia, Brazil.
We dodged a bullet by travelling here – from Amsterdam via Paris CDG – on Wednesday. I suspect we would have had real problems on any other day in the last week. As it was it was a doddle for us. We are currently suffering sunshine and 30c temperatures. Tough job but someone has to do it.

Merry Christmas folks, it’s been a good year for sparring and debate, perhaps we’ll all get some answers next year.

Good to here you go home mark, we managed to get here Christmas eve without problems but was fingers crossed all week.
Got me thinking of what a pain this year has been for air travel to Spain, have been over about ten times in 2010 and I can only think of two trips that went as they should, very long delays with 24 hours being the longest (french and spanish air trafic), nights in hotels due to closed airports (ash clouds) Etc
Lets hope 2011 will be better 🙂
