‘The Málaga Prosecutors’ Office has opened an investigation into the P.P. Mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz.
The Mayor has been accused of perversion of the course of justice by the lawyer Inmaculada Gálvez, who presented her complaint last month. It accused the Mayor of not carrying out four firm sentences which cancelled licences to build.
If found guilty Ángles Muñoz could have a ban from holding public office of between seven and ten years.The lawyer represents the Community of Owners in the Los Monteros urbanisation, where actor Antonio Banderas has his house.
Público newspaper reports that the lawyer says that three of the orders which have been ignored are for private dwellings and should result in the demolition of the Banderas house and two others. The fourth order was against an extension to the social club in the urbanisation which was carried out without a licence………
