we have known him for over seven years when we paid him to build our house but we never got it,we are now trying to get our money back along with lots and lots of other people,he ows money all over the place if you are thinking of dealing with him you have been warned, keep well away,i wish i had never heard his name,take care .

hi again, at the moment i’m in the uk but will be heading back to spain soon i do not know any other names but there are a lot of court cases going through the court in yecla against maxina, and yes i did see the wed site about maxina it did not make for good reading,i just hope we can either get our money back or the house ! but i dont hold out much hope.

Hi everybody. I’ve only just found this forum so any info would be appreciated. I’m probably one of many that invested money in Maxina via Mr Carter and Debrauwer. About a year ago they stopped answering calls and emails. I did employ a spanish lawyer to try and get my money back but Mr Debrauwer refused to reply and seems to have disappeared.
The lawyer suggested it would take a long time and plenty of money to try and get my money back with no guarantee at the end.
Would love to hear from anybody else who has a similar experience or any info on the subject. Are there any owners/investors forums? Has anyone one taken up a legal case against Gary Carter, Alain Debrauwer or Maxina? -

We know that AD is still in business and still in Guadamar and probably still taking money from hardworking individuals. We have spoken to an aquaintance to GC, and GC promises that he too is a victim and not a co-conspiriter. He too is owed about £700,000, and has tried to make contact with AD.
Not sure how to take that, still feel that he is a big part of why we have no money. We too would like to know of anyone else who has taken AD to court.
Cant believe how we were sucked into AD’s webb. Should have know the offer we were given was too good to be true. But when a so called British counterpart was the one offering, thought it would all be good. Did you ever see the Maxina office in Yecla, we went on several occasions still thought it was all legit.

I can see that this topic hasn’t been active for quite a while now, but I just want to get it going again as I’ve only come across this thread today. I’m chasing up my partner’s investment, her parents are also involved in it and it frustrates me to see that nothing is being done about these properties. Has anyone had any success in contacting the developers?? Or received any sort of recompense??
I’d just like some sort of update on where these developments are heading and would appreciate any useful responses,
also any guidance from those who have made any sort of progress at all,

I know this may seem to be a little bit of a long shot but reading about other similar stories on more larger scale, I came across a petition submission on the European parliament website. Basically I read that petitions covering this kind of scam would perhaps be taken more seriously if more from the same country/region arose. I think in our case, perhaps we should give it a go. A petition sounds like a good idea. It looks like we would all have to submit individually online. Ideally we need to get as many people as possible to get together and either petition as a group or get some legal advise as to how, if possible we can get our money back. Or at least bring the crooks to justice.
Not sure how many people have been affected, but if we can get a list going….it would be a start.

Hi Phil,
I looked asubmitting the petition form but was at a loss as to how to fill it out ie Title and Text of petition.
Also I tried emailing the ecopark contact who said they would call in 24hrs but have not heard anything either.
Like you say I think we should get a group going and all fill out the forms – people have a look and see what you think 🙂Cheers

Hi everyone. Just a general catch up to see if anybody has heard anymore about their lost investment with Maxina and the infamous Debrauwer. did anyone try and recover money through a solicitor? Any joy? I had an email from a guy in Belgium saying he had been defrauded by Mr Debrauwer who has a completely different business there. Apparently he resides there now. Any info would be good.

Hi everybody, I’m representing an individual investor who is willing to buy some lands in Yecla. Those lands are currently owned by some people that most probably, they don’t know that they are the owners since the lands were pre owned by Maxina, the bad reputed company (according to the search I did in Internet which conducted me to this forum).
