  This is the responce i received from one of the MEP’s
  
  “Conservative MEPs are well aware of this problem. There does not appear to be much direct legal remedy under EU law though you may be able to appeal under the European Convention on Human Rights to the Strasbourg court. Nevertheless Roger Helmer MEP is taking a lead for the UK Conservatives on this issue which he is raising repeatedly during the Spanish Presidency”.
