I hear that this prime estate in the classy Empordà region of Catalonia, not far from the best beaches of Palamos, Calella, Llafranc, etc. has just been foreclosed and sold at auction for €1.4m, down from a purchase price of €11m in 2008. That’s a discount of 87pc for a really prime estate. 😯

Looks like a nice really house (1959 design apparently). Lots of maintenance I suspect (12 hectares, older construction, etc)

Would need a lot of money to bring it up to scratch…townhouse sized kitchen, mediocre pool and surrounds. Old-fashioned brick and rock walls. Sounds a nice plot 😀 Potential if you have another 500,000 or more to spend on refurbishment…and afford a full-time gardener.
