I have been reading these forums for a few weeks now and I have found them a massive help. So thank you all before I begin!
I have seen several posts about buying in Granada and I also visited a site that was linked to in one of the posts. The site is showing property in a few places in Southern Spain including Granada, http://www.spanishpropertydevelopment.com
I just thought I would email and say what a pleasant surprise I found when I contacted the company in question. A comment was made that there was no info on the site about the developer, so I expected to get the brush off, but they were really good and told me anything I wanted to know. BEST OF ALL NO PUSHY SALES!!! I visited Andalucian DreamHomes in Fuengirola and they were terrible for trying to make a sale.
Anyway, I spoke to the people at SpanishPropertyDevelopment.com and they sent me a couple of brochures which look pretty good. I have not signed on the dotted line yet but I am looking to buy at Medina Elvira (just need to decide if I want front line golf 😀 ). I just thought I would pass on a recommendation to other people interested in Medina Elvira, that they seem to be a good company to contact.
Anyway, hopefully I can get more involved with the forums if I decide to go ahead. Thanks again for all of the insight.
Cheers Paul. I must admit, this was another one of the reasons I chose to contact them in the first place. I haven’t needed to meet with the people yet, but I think I am going to go on one of their viewing trips in the near future, would really apprieciate any feedback from anybody else who has seen the site in person?

The advice I would give is NEVER go on a paid for viewing trip. Pay for your own and go without the pressure. Book a cheap flight in November (£30 each) a room in a nice hotel (£50 a night) hire a car (£50) and have a nice weekend driving round. Research the whole area see what else is available and view a whole load of sites.
Much better than being met at the airport and being led by the nose for two days then put back on the plane after (and only after) signing for a property.
Or you could just drive 20 mins down the road Gary and have a look at the scale model !
Regards
Paul
