      Can anyone tell me the minimum legal requirement for new build property in the Murcia region of Spain please?

      We are reading various conflicting reports on the web.

      Hello Linda

      This is regulated in the so called “Normas Urbanisticas” of the correspondent General Plan of the Town where you buy, and may vary depending of the area where the plot is located.

      Check it first… always!

      Around the Lorca area the minimum requirement is 5000 m.sq. to legally build up to 350 m.sq. Pro rata the land per sq.m.is cheap by comparison to other provences.
      One good thing it keeps the developers out. 😈
