I am looking to purchase a property in Ayamonte in Costa de la Luz and would like to find a trustworthy lawyer, I have approached one of the lawyers listed on this website and I am waiting for a reply but thought I would see if I should try and get one closer to where we are hoping to purchase.

I don’t know of a good, English-speaking lawyer who specialises in real estate law and who is based in Huelva Province. Needless to say I’m on the look out for one (the closest on my list – José María Sanchez – is too far away to help, though of course much better than a useless local lawyer).
A forum regular (username is Loco) is based down in Ayamonte – he might be able to recommend a good local lawyer. He’s also got a thing or two to say about the real estate market in that area.

There is another forum for the people who have purchased on Isla Canela near to Ayemonte. There is a lawyer who has acted for several of the buyers, but I can’t remember her name nor able to recomend.

Where are you thinking of buying in Ayemonte?
I did place a deposit on a property there but backed out and did contact this lawyer. She seemed to be independent and I believe works for a fixed price and not a percentage,

She is the Lawyer the developer recommends their clients use. Her family members work for guess who…… ?
I MAY have a decent Sevilla Law Firm willing to act in the area but before I suggest them here I would like to make some further checks.
