We have found a property thet we wish to buy in Playa Marques in the Vera area of spain can you recommend a lawyer in the area please. We would like an independent lawyer. We have been dealing with Remax estate agents and the property is with the almanzora group that owns Desert Springs so someone not attached to any of these would be good if possible. Also we would like a heads up on the best place for a mortgage please we have done some research but it is a minefield as usual.

We used a solicitor in Aguilas for our purchase in Vera, far enough away to be removed from the developers! 1% conveyancing cost at the time, don’t know what it is now though. They are in the forums recommended list of solicitors (which is how we found them), but if you want more details, drop me a pm.
