An interesting article in Bloomber Businessweek on a big real estate scam in Las Vegas during the boom. It also reveals how building standards plummeted in Las Vegas in the haste to build and get rich quick. Makes you realise that this sort of thing was going on in lots of property hot-spots during the boom, not just Spain.

Isn’t that how Las Vegas started though 😀 We have friends live in Sun City California and it’s lovely. This one was just the wrong time.

Been watching golf on TV, from Dubai. The course is absolutely surrounded by empty houses, many unfinished.
