SOCIAL GROUPS FROM ALL SPANISH PROVINCES ORGANISE THE FIRST COORDINATED LARGE-SCALE PROTEST AGAINST URBAN SPECULATION

Next weekend, social and ecologist groups from all Spain will coordinate their actions to say that urban speculation has become the most serious social and environmental problem in Spain. Urban speculation is radically transforming and degrading people’s lifes in an actual state of dictatorhip from promoters and mafias who work under the protection of the administration and against the general ineterests of the people. No other environmental problem has such a devastating and irrversible impact in nature as has the unprecedented urban development in Spain. The current perspectives of development outreach by far every development done in the past and represents the most devastating development in the history of Europe.

Different networks of associations in Andalusia, Madrid, Valencia, Murcia, Asturias and Canarias, thet represent more than 1.000 associations and groups, will join their voices in this unprecedented coordinated action that will take part simultaneously in all provinces, which is but the start af a long term campaign.

In the province of Madrid the network Citizens Against Speculation will perform a simbolic protest in an emblematic place of the city.
