‘The Marbella Management Committee has offered a plot of land at Las Chapas to the Costa del Sol health district, for the construction of a new health centre.

A press statement says the plot is next to the A7 motorway and needs ‘some modification’ before it can be handed over.

It’s currently classified for educational use, and is not yet publically owned.

Wonder how near this is to La Reserva & what the significance might be? La Reserva is huge and if legalised would need health facilities nearby I would have thought ❓ ❓ Should get more info. from Town Hall Meeting today.

Suzanne – you beat me to it! If anybody gets any further information following today’s meeting, I am really keen to hear. English would be wonderful – my Spanish is very limited.

      Many thanks

I think the land for the new health centre is close to the new mercadona just before the English International College.

Thanks, it is the site where I thought it would be. At the moment we have only one (very nice) doctor here situated in the town hall in Elviria.

Dorothy, I have checked the website and its translation. I know you have nothing to do with it but even my basic knowledge of Spanish and being conversent in Spanglish could not make very much of it, despite reading it a number of times.
