Sorry if I repeat a topic here but someone mentioned that he paid money into the London branch of La Caixa (in Pound Sterling) and it was transferred into the Spanish branch without charges. Do I need to open an account with the London branch of La Caixa, do I have to go there personally or how does this work? Email that I read here is copied below.

I am with Caxia , if you pay sterling into the branch in London , they will xfer at comercial rate for free to branch in Spain . I have just done this .
