Few days ago Section 5 of Asturian Court of Appeals has stated that the usual contract clauses included in off plan promotions that force purchasers to pay the tax councils charge to get access to the public water supply and sewer system are illegal, null and void, declaring this is something to be paid by the promoter/builder as an essential condition of the dwellings to be fully ‘enjoyed’

Based partially on this sentence, the Asturian Consumer Association has started a claim against Oviedo Town Hall demanding the refund of this taxes paid from 2001 to 2005. (about 1.5 million Euro)

Wisely, the town Hall has changed his Tax regulations for this year…
