I have recently inherited an apartment in Spain, and have paid all of the associated taxes etc. However, paying these fees has used up my savings, and the apartment (value approx 100,000 Euros) requires some renovation / refurbishment to the tune of about 20,000 Euros. I am a UK resident. Can anyone suggest any way of raising this money against the Spanish apartment?
Thank you in advance for any help, insight, or guidance you can give – it will be very much appreciated
If not banks (good luck) and you plan to rent it out, why not put together a comprehensive business plan and try peer-to-peer borrowing? The one I know and think is ok is Zopa but there are many ie Funding Circle.
