Has anybody got any info or experience on living in Las Alcazares, good or bad?
I am looking at relocating out there in about 3 years time upon retirement, I have been out on holiday there for the last couple of years and quite liked it. Thanks, Steve.

      Hi

Spent just over 18 months in Los Alcazares and really loved the place.Thankfully it has a thriving Spanish community as well as the normal ex pat brigade.

Much nicer “out of season” as July and August can be very busy.My advice would be to rent for 6 months to really get a feel for the area and best places to live.

Fantastic restaurants and plenty of things to do.

      Hope this helps

Hi Spanishfly, thanks for your response. I agree with your post, I enjoyed just how Spanish it was, yet could dip a toe into the ex pat side of things if needed. Did you encounter any negatives living there?

Hi Steve, i am looking at Los Alcazares i have got a 6 month let from jan09 so i can get a feel for the place, ive just sold up on la torre golf ( polaris world) but we spent more of our time driving too Los Alcazares (which we love), nice new bars opening al the time im renting on roda golf so i wont need a car, i will use a bike. Los Alcazares has got every thing you need, but go for a long rent before you buy or just rent and dont buy.
