Next year construction of the long delayed AVE line from Murcia to Almeria will resume at last and take four years to complete. In Almeria province there will be a station at Vera bringing rail access for the first time to the Costa Almeria from Vera Playa to Mojacar.

My question is what effect is this likely to have on property prices in the area? What has been the experience where AVE lines have been built in other regions of Spain?
