I have just booked a hire car for 7 days over Christmas. The cheapest price on the first (and only) website I visted was £34.75 for a 2 door car!! Booked a 5 door VW Golf for £51.87

Looks like everyone is staying home as at those prices they must be running at a loss.

Its the same in other countries – I found dirt cheap prices for Northern Ireland and Bulgaria.

Probably something to do loads of us not being able to get there, your lucky if you can get a flight!

friends of mine managed to get on a plane twice and made it to the run way once but in the end were told it wasn’t going and to rebook they are hoping to get out on wednesday but with more snow forecast they are not hopefull
