I am renting an apartment in Fuengerola and want to know if the new regulations for the Andalucía region apply to my booking? i.e. Fixed Air con, free Wi-Fi etc. The person I am renting from own 2 other apartments in the building, I have tried to find out this information but nothing seems clear.

Lisa, are you renting for a holiday, or living there? If you are living there tourist rental regs don’t apply.

Many thanks for your reply, I am holidaying there I understand that if it is a villa or house that air con must be fixed not freestanding and that Wi-Fi should be free, The apartment I am renting only has ceiling fans and I have to pay for Wi-Fi, and I cant see any section in the decree that you attached that states this, would I be better off just emailing the owner/management company and asking them direct?

• Wifi: In the law is not stated that the owner must supply FREE wifi.
• Airco: That´s an obligation as of 11 February 2017.
