Does anyone have any experience with either H2O or Amba Sun (good or bad) – please answer this one by PM.
We are looking at trying to find an investment property in the Almeria or Southern Costa Blanca region having dismissed the idea of the CDS thanks to some genuine advice from this forum!
We are looking at 3-5 year time scale to make some return, but would need to rent it out to cover the mortgage and running costs – is this feasible??? – any feedback would be greatly appreciated
We delt with H20 in Bromsgrove and can honestly say they were top class. We are going over to Spain to look at a number of suggestions from H20. I beleive they are connect with Dixons the estate agent in the UK.
H20 is pretty much the same as all of them. Just to give you some background – when H20 started operations on the CDS 3 years ago, the sales Director and Sales Managers and Telemarketing Managers all came from “Awful Estates” of which we have read so much about. The mentality is “get the commission and move on as quickly as possible”. Not saying they are the worst – just typical.
My advise – Rent first and Never buy during an inspection trip, unless you are very very knowledgeable about the area and the Market!
Be careful, even with H2o because the (Scottish) sales girl who mis-sold to us several years ago from ‘Awful Estates’ moved to H2o in a senior position re tele sales, and she caused us a lot of grief and wasted 3.5 years for us, yet her sales lines were: we’ll cherry pick the best plots for you, you cannot lose, it’s a no-brainer etc etc. She fed us a hard luck story and we fell for it stupidly feeling sorry for her plight and ended up filling her pockets with large commissions.
