I’m reading news stories about HARLEQUIN HOTELS & RESORTS being in trouble. They develop / market luxury property in the Carribean and, I think, Thailand.

They have some celebrity partners / endorsements – always a bad sign!

Seems the FSA are looking into them, and they are fighting in court to prevent assets being frozen. So I guess it’s only a matter of time…..

My point is, it doesn’t just happen in Spain. Overseas property is a risky, risky business, and it seems to me many people don’t realise this.
