Golden Visa Property Purchase dates

      I just wondered if anyone knows if any way round purchase dates. I was all set to look at Golden visa only to see property must be purchased after 2013. Mine was 2004. Is there any way around this ?

      Nope, there is no way around this retroactive deadline for the Spanish Golden Visa.

      I qualify for a golden visa butI don’t want residency, just more than the 90 days. Can I do this and if so how long can I stay?

        Herbie, you don’t become a fiscal resident with the Spanish golden visa if you spend less than 183 days / year in Spain, so if you don’t want residency that’s your limit.

      Thanks, but just to clarify, does that mean I could stay for say 110 days without leaving Spain and does this alter time in the  Schengen area?
