      I have few very little coins . Apparently wise as part of your survival kit.Would appreciate any comment on what is advised in Spain is best to keep that is most easily traded for ready cash there .

      I would go for silver coins – easier to buy some eggs with. 😉

      I think you’re probably better of with an emergency supply of USD or CHF in a strong box. If it comes to gold or silver coins we are doomed.

      A sensible idea Mark as CAD.. But I had in mind to keep a little bit of unusual cash coins. Silver recently very cheap -it is industrial uses so in a very serious scenario think gold more useful whatever it buys. I recently bought some HOC (Hochschilde Mining) shares at 147p -they are weighted to more silver than gold. See a lot of potential upside over time -currently 169p.
