      I have just seem this article by the telegraph:

      Germans are rejecting PIGS (Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain) notes dure to a lack of confidence in these countries:

      Probably the UK media is trying to recover the pound?

      An interesting article Peter.

      “People clearly suspect that southern notes may lose value in a crisis, or if the eurozone breaks apart. This is what happened in the US in the Jackson era of the 1840s when dollar notes from different regions traded at different values”.

      Surely if this sentiment esculates it could cause chaos for the Euro/Eurozone.
