Furniture package recomendations reqd

      I am completing on a 2 bed Apartment in the La Cala de Mijas area(CDS) in Oct 06.I am already starting to think about furnishing the property.Can anyone recommend a competitively priced (not cheap and nasty) furniture company offering a full furniture package.Please let me know only if you have been pleased with company’s products and service please!
      I have heard that IKEA is opening in 2006 on Costa del Sol.Is this true?

      Hi, Yes Ikea is coming to Malaga, but not till 2007. Imperial, in La Canada are very good for furniture packages, as is “Mad about furniture”, which I think is run by English Guys and they are very helpful.

      Hello there.
      You might like to speak with Hayley Reed at Ambience Home Design on +34 646406655. She has provided both myself and my clients with an excellent service and some star deals. Ambience are often contracted to supply high quality furniture for show flats so when the show flat is closed they can re-sell the furniture at good prices. e.g. I recently bought a perfect €4000 Italian sofa for under €1000.

      For excellent quality and comprehensice service at reasonable rates I have no problem in highly recommending a company called RNA HOME DECOR.

      I would recommend TIMELESS in Mijas Costa. They have a good range and some bargains from time to time. I bought tables, chairs, beds and cabinets there and have been pleased with the quality. Speak to Julian on 952 666 214.

      Imperial are a good company. They have a larger store on the road to Mijas Pueblo (signposted off the A7 on the way to Malaga) from Fuengirola. They have room displays upstairs and are taking about 5 weeks from order to installation at the moment. I was there last week and met a very helpful sales person called Isabel.

      I think I shall be making a trip to Ikea Seville with a van! Just learnt today we have 6 ceiling lights in at least 2 of the rooms (basement and sitting room). Think I would save a fortune on light fittings and fabric for curtains alone.
