      The economy of the 17 nations in the euro shrank by 0.6% in the fourth quarter, which was worse than forecast. Germany down -6%, France -3%, Italy -9%. Unremitting gloom the worst figures for four years..

      If you read the article (or any other on the subject) most analysts are predicting a springback in most countries, especially in Germany in the new Year. With the exception of France, who look set to be this year’s whipping boys ( Spain was last year’s)
