We are interested in purchasing a property and have requested a copy of the escritura from the estate agent, we have received a copy of the Escritura de Compraventa, I cannot get it translated until this evening, so will this document contain the information we require ?

It will give you the information on the property you are buying, size of plot etc. It will not tell you if there are any debts on the property you need a Nota Simple to see that.

Thanks Katy, got a copy of the Nota Simple, just wanted to know if the
Escritura de Compraventa contained same info as the Escritura
