Well, I thought I’d finally cracked a couple of minutes before one o’clock this morning, after working on Our Petition & mulling over threads on here. The whole room seemed to shake & sway, everything was moving, & I genuinely thought I was having a heart attack – too much Spanglish stress I said to myself!

Turns out it was an earthquake 😯

phew……that was horrible. My wife and i woke up about 10 past one to hear my daughters bedroom door shaking like something out of the excorci!st! I burst in to her room not knowing what the hell i was going to find, and ……..nothing, all quiet, she hadn’t even woken up. I spent most of the rest of the night in a sweat, hardly sleeping and listening out for every sound in the night, wondering what it was.

My wife and i had agreed not to mention the incident to my daughter for fear of frightening the life out of her, but when we saw the reports this morning, what relief, just an earthquake!

Didn’t feel or hear a thing down here in Kent . Lucky eh 😉
