Hi,

does anyone know how powerful the ecology/green party are in Spain? I have noticed they are raising many complaints about coastal developments, some of which are going to judicial reviews. From what I have read, they oppose virtually every new urbanisation being built. Are they powerful enough to get building licences revoked, etc. or do the town halls not take them too seriously?

With the Marbella scandal and such like, is it safe to buy any new property in spain at the moment?
