Can anyone advise me on the procedure to challenge an IBI bill. I seem to be paying some 60% more than other owners of the same apartments on my development and also appear to have been charged more in previous years as well.

I have emailed the Patronato twice, but they are ignoring my emails.
I have referred the matter to the Foreigners office in the locality and they are endeavouring to sort the matter, but the Patronato have now added a further €35 for being just 5 days over the due date for payment.
Can they legally charge interest and penalties when the bill is being disputed and they have failed to respond to my challenge.

How should I now proceed if I am not satisfied with their response.

Any of the legal eagles on the site able to give advice ?
