Court case commenced last Oct Court case no given feb 07 but still no date
The court case was in relation to return of deposit on off plan property with no first occupancy licences and other problems how long should this take

we are in the same position, we haven’t got a date given yet, but i think it’s a ‘how long is a piece of string’ situation, due to courts backlog, appeals by developer, negotiations and just the ‘painfully slow’ system.

I confirm what was said and one thing is for sure,you will not be able to speed things up and its simply a waiting game and in the meantime you have to try to move on.
Importantly does your solicitor feel you have a justfied case as the develpers appear to be getting away with late completions.
Claire and Charlie are well clued up on this.

Thanks for the helpful comments and yes my solicitor does feel we have good case and one well known on forum Probably I just didnt expect it to take so long

Good Luck Karen! I believe there are others in a like position. We will be keeping everything crossed for you all. There was a case yesterday against the same developer. I hope we will hear soon how that went. I will email you if I hear anything.
