Anyone bought, or thinking of buying, here?

We felt Costa del Sol looked a bit overpriced.
So bought in a development called Fuentes in Almunecar.

The agents out there are certainly talking the area up- new motorway under construction, Ryanair flying to Granada,close to skiing,etc.

Any comments/thoughts?

Hi Tim,

I bought in Almunecar too, for much the same reasons as you mentioned, though I have in fact purchased in the old town. I like to be in the centre of things!

I didn’t buy as a speculative venture but to live there. And I love it!!

It’s a beautiful area. However, if you are of working age I would think there are limited opportunities for employment or settng up a business that doesn’t involve real estate.

I would definitely consider retiring to that part of the coast though
