Just wondering if anyone read the Costa Azahar supplement in the Sunday Times? If so, did you like it? Was it useful? Did it make you want to visit or look into buying there? Have you kept it for future reference or thrown it away?
I’m trying to get a feel for how effective the supplement was. Any comments welcome.
Mark, I read the supplement and found it to be an informative series of articles ,which I thought gave the area a positive write up,one item did catch my eye however regarding the 30 odd golf courses they plan to build in the region.
As you know water supply is steadily becoming more of an issue ,how do you think the authorities will cope when these courses are operating, given that the local councils seem to be committed towards building more sustainable communities ?.
Also with the ongoing debate about the property slow down in Spain now gathering greater momentum, where in Spain would you invest in order to try and minimize the effects of price falls ?
Mark,
I read the article and enjoyed it very much. It is an area of Spain that I dont know at all, but will certainly visit after reading your article
I kept it for future reference

Gary, I suspect that only some of the golf courses under consideration will happen, at least in the next 10 years. Quite a few will just never get off the drawing board for one reason or another. Some may well be denied permission for not having sufficient water resources.
The supplement is only available printed on paper. You can have a copy of the supplement sent to you if you ring the Onofre showroom in London (Onofre are the developers of Portocala resort on the Costa Azahar) on 0800 876 6704.
