      I need to reschedule my mortgage. i.e a different product with the same lender.

      The lender claims not be making any charges such as their opening fees. However a new survey, taxes notary fee etc is required amounting to €5k.

      I recall having read on the forum that these charges i.e. taxes etc are being reduced or not being charged in the current climate. I also recall reading on the forum that these taxes and charges break was only available to Spanish residents.

      Any views !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      None I can print!!! They really are taking the mickey!

      I understand they need Notary as the deed has to be signed there, but a valuation again??? Really why?? (well I know they give a reason for it but its all pants)

      Thats a lot of money!
