If ‘A Place in the Sun’ is the same as that old TV chestnut programme ‘A Place in the Sun’ then do not believe them for one moment since they with presenters like Amanda Lamb were responsible for duping naive Brits into making big mistakes buying abroad. They should be banned from broadcasting 👿
They are purely commercial and receive: advertising, exhibition, and TV revenues, they are seriously only self-interested because a few years later the same presenters were presenting ‘House Trapped in the Sun’
Believe them and Brits will lose their money at current exchange rates, and the Eurozone crisis is not over yet!!! 👿
Did anyone see their recent series A Place in the winter sun? I was on holiday and recorded them all. Their ongoing theme through all the series was how house prices have crashed worldwide. Usual rubbish about renting out etc. One was supposed to be Marbella, a golf mad guy looking for a place. They didn’t show him one in all the hour long programme. Estepona, Coín. the only shot of marbella was the Presenter walking through the gardens of the Marbella Club Hotel! I think you can watch them online if in the UK.
See they are charging £15 entrance for the exhibition…is anyone crazy enough to pay that to get waylaid by a bunch of agents, lawyers, financial advisors etc. 🙄
Have emailed ‘A Place in the Sun’ and asked a few pertinent questions of them, also told them their comments on Spanish property sales differ to other indices. Told them too, that having helped dupe many Brits into buying abroad mainly through Amanda Lamb, she then went on to present another of that channel’s programmes called ‘House Trapped in the Sun’.
Naturally they went a bit touchy and said they ‘were not responsible got the Global financial woes’ which I did not accuse them of. Quite funny really, you know ‘if the cap fits, wear it’
As I said before they are a purely commercially driven outfit which I can prove with dodgy sales and programme material, so will start a separate topic about this. 😉
