I am in need of a good lawyer to help with my completion i have already got a lawyer and i am afraid to say it is with them my problem is
my apartment is now complete and i sent my funds over to my lawyer on April 18th and my self and my developer are still waiting for the lawyer to pay we have all license in place so there is no need for any delay they have already missed one appointment made by them at the notary.
I have sent lots of emails faxes and phone calls with no reply to why they are holding on to my money i have now been told my developer will be taking action against my lawyer .I seem to be out of pocket with nothing to show for it ..i will be informing the colegio de abogados de malaga of this situation
so where does this leave me

Normally, the developer would not be paid the balance until the deeds are signed at the Noatario.

Does that mean that you have given a power of attorney?

Suggest maybe the first thing is to get on a plane and sit in the lawyers reception until you get some answers!

Is it your [choice of] lawyer or is it one suggested/recommended by the developer or agent?

yes i agree with rob on this!! the Lawyer has your money in this case so you need to get over there asap and go straight in to his office and do not leave until he has sorted this out. By this I mean sit there until he has made all the relevant phone calls . Better still…I would, if it were me contact the developer and ask them to send someone with you to the lawyers office and you bith go together to get this sorted.

Best Of luck!!!!keep us informed of how you get on!
