If a flat occupant is a tenant is that person liable to pay the monthly charge or the landlord ? Sometimes it is included in rent but not always. Sometimes a bank repossess a flat and then rents it back to the defaulter and charges this in the rent. Does the tenant have any rights for example for representation at meetings where decisions are made about disbursements from Communidad funds ? One member of our edifio now rents from the bank but does that person have any voting rights please ?

Hi,
only the owner of the property has the voting rights at the owner community meeting. Only if the tenant has a written power of representation and to vote he could attend the meeting and participate in decisions. The monthly charge has to be paid by the owner of the apartment. If he charges that back to his tenant thats up to him.
