Cheaper to commute from Madrid than live in London says Tessa Jowell

Thanks to the high cost of housing in London it’s cheaper to live in Madrid and commute, claims Labour’s London candidate for Mayor Tessa Jowell.

It costs £5,000 more to live in a one-bedroom flat in Camden than to stay in central Madrid and fly to London four days a week.
