  My dad would like to gift me his half of a property in spain we jointly own. Has anyone experience of doing this or changing the deeds in any way?

  It’s not complicated. You could just inform a Notary of what you want to do and have the Notary draw up new deeds. However there will be tax issues to consider so all in all I recommend you consult a Spanish lawyer.
