      Can anyone give any advice or information regarding cave houses ?
      Has anyone ever stayed in one, or owned one ? Is it possible to obtain a mortgage on such a property ?

      Any registered real estate piece (named finca) which means that it is registered as an independent estate in the Land Registry, can have a mortgage on it.
