Im sure its been asked many times but is car ownership complicated and pricey.
Ive owned on the costa for ten years, thinking of buying a car but the parking of it near the airport is a major factor.Any ideas, cheapest options.
I only visit about 6 times per year, but may increase.

I think he means that he have owned a property for such a long time and I also think he wants the service of leavin the car at the airport and being able to pick it up there when he arrives. Suchs service exists and they usually include a few drops each year. At least that how it is at the Alicante airport.

We visit Menorca only once per year and keep our Opel Corsa (1980-something) stored at a garage. They maintain it (probably just before we arrive), take it to the iTUV so we don’t have to waste vacation time, and they park it in the airport parking lot on the morning of our arrival, with a full tank. The Mahon airport parking lot has gotten bigger, so we agree in advance that it will be to the left of the airport exit, as close as possible — can be a bit of an Easter egg hunt nowadays, but has worked flawlessly for 30 years. We settle up with the garage midway through our vacation, usually about 300-400 euros per year for the physical car, and another ~350 euros for insurance that they also take care of, while we are away.

Wouldn’t it just be cheaper for you to rent a brand new car? I usually rent a car for 3-4 weeks every year on Mallorca and it has never costed me more then 650 euros. You also don’t have to worry about anything happening to the car.
